Dog Love

Lincoln isn't a puppy anymore. But, he still likes to be right where the action is!
We think he is so funny. Especially when he sleeps on his back. I've never known a dog so comfortable lying on his back all spread eagle. Like this:

Seriously, he's napping! I totally snuck up on him to take this photo and he didn't even stir. Wasn't it especially considerate of him to make sure his privates were covered up?

And look at Claire! That long, lean back is not a 4,5, or 6 year old. Living things grow well in your home!

I was thinking the same thing about Claire!! And, I appreciated Lincoln's modesty.

Tooooooooo funny! At least your fur children are modest. I just posted a picture of one of mine sooooo NOT being modest.
Hope you're having a great Labor Day weekend!
God bless :)

How's Claire coming along with her piano playing?
Our dog used to do that too and only at a special place on the hallway floor. We figured that a pipe from the floor heating ran along there so it warmed his spine. Funny, our cat, before she went missing would lay in the same place in the same pose.

Your piece, Patina of Radiance, is absolutly stunning. beautiful composition.

Great photo! My black lab mix, Crystal sleeps on her back all the time. My other two dogs do not sleep on their backs at all. If Lincoln is like Crystal he thinks he is a puppy and still small in size and can fit any where.

Kaiser will lay on his back but doesn't sleep that way...and he always sneezes when he has been on his back. He does like to have a pillow tho...usually one of his toys. And he always has to be right where I am working, especially in my very tiny kitchen. A cookie takes care of that tho as he seems to think cookies are made to be eaten on the rug in the dining room....

Claire is getting to be so grown up.....
