Here you can see a bit of machine and hand stitching. Each piece got some of both.

Here is a shot of the back with the label I created with an image of the original sketch and the name of the student who created it. This one is for the pink house that you see above.
I made a simple muslin sleeve for each piece. This will make for safer, easier transporting from here to there.
I'll be visiting the classroom this week to meet all the young artists and talk a little about art quilting. I'm really looking forward to it!
The auction is a new endeavor for this school and the teacher and I are eager to see how it all plays out. I'll keep you posted!
