Maine Landscapes

I'm getting ready to work on a new small art quilt --- a landscape, I think. I'm taking inspiration from these images from my trip to Maine.
Remember the green bridge?
This is a path at Sarah's new home.
I love Maine's coastline!
This may be my favorite... with the grasses in the foreground.
No, wait. Maybe this is my favorite (though it's more about he sky and the sunset than the landscape).
Another angle of the green bridge.

I am enamored with the grasses and reeds in photos. These are all great fodder for abstracting. Can't wait to see what you do.

I love Maine, wish I could spend the whole summer there. I really like how you captured the rays coming down on the boat. I think the last photo would work nice in landscape too, nice subject matter and textures.

Aren't the clouds in Maine amazing? And our path...what fun to see our path! We've had to mow down that meadow to ready for winter, but it will be back again next year to meander amongst the wildflowers and grasses..... SO glad you could come to visit!
