One Last Creche

Gerrie, Kristin and others have posted wonderful nativities throughout the Christmas season. This is the one we added to our collection this year. Can you believe it?! I think it is absolutely hysterical. We also gave a set of these to my mom and dad who have an extensive and amazing collection of creches. In the past few years they have tried to add only very unique or special creches to their collection. I thought this definetely qualified as unique.

I went to hear a lecture by Diane Gaudynski at the Dallas Quilt Guild last night. There were tons of people there and it was pretty inspiring. I haven't done much free motion quilting lately. It's hard when most of my work isn't more than 10 inches on any side. I'm certainly not going to be doing any urns or feathers, but I do have a large piece that is sandwiched and ready for quilting. I even checked out some Gustav Klimt books for inspiration. It seems I have everything I need to move forward... except a clean spot in my studio. But that is going to happen today.
