I went to hear a lecture by Diane Gaudynski at the Dallas Quilt Guild last night. There were tons of people there and it was pretty inspiring. I haven't done much free motion quilting lately. It's hard when most of my work isn't more than 10 inches on any side. I'm certainly not going to be doing any urns or feathers, but I do have a large piece that is sandwiched and ready for quilting. I even checked out some Gustav Klimt books for inspiration. It seems I have everything I need to move forward... except a clean spot in my studio. But that is going to happen today.

I love it!! The insructor of my clay class was wrking on one where the figures were lardge round shapes. It was pretty cool.
Hilarious..I especially love the lamb. Diane Gaudinski is one of the most amazing quilters ever. How fortunate that you got see and hear it all in person.
These are wonderful - I would have them on show all year.
