One of the best things about visiting my parents in New York is the food... and the traditions we have of eating and enjoying all the same things.
On our first evening, we went to the local ice cream shop for cones. Benjamin chose to have a funnel cake.
During our visit, we also checked out the local Strawberry Fest where we had real shortcake with real made-from-scratch biscuits and real whipped cream.
We always make s'mores. Mom always lays out all the fixings on this tray.
They are always tasty!
One afternoon we biked to another local ice cream shop and hot dog stand. Doesn't this just look like summer on a tray?
Benjamin and Grandma always make cinnamon rolls.
Dad made fluffer-nutter sandwiches for dinner one night. Yum!
We enjoyed these delicious strawberries purchased from a road side stand... the kind where you just take the berries and put the money in a jar.
Delicious memories with my family!
