Part VI: Acceptance!

I am thrilled to say that my art quilts were accepted into the SAQA Deux exhibit. You remember I posted about my experience and process of entering the show at the end of November. It was all worth it!

SAQA has asked that we wait until the exhibit opens to share images of the works that have been accepted. So, you can see my four entries here. But you'll have to wait until June to know which two the juror chose.

Now there is paperwork to be filled out. Also, I must make sure the sleeves and labels fit all the requirements.

The exhibition will debut at International Quilt Festival in Rosemont, IL in June. Selected pieces from the exhibit will travel to Carrefour: Patchwork Europe, Alsace, France in August 2013.

I hope SAQA will also have a slide show of the exhibit on their website. I think it's a really interesting concept and I'm eager to see the works included... and honored to be among them!
