Tigers, Boxes and Pie!

Claire is participating in her middle school musical again this year. They are doing Suessical! She's a tiger in the jungle scene (and a popcorn girl in the circus scene and a cadet in the military take-over).

I think this is a really great tiger interpretation with the kimono style wrap and simple elastic waist skirt (made by the costume committee). Fun!

As I've mentioned before, Benjamin is part of a Destination Imagination team. I took this picture of the white board when they were brainstorming things you could use to attach one thing to another.
An excellent example of creative brainstorming, don't you think?

Here is the shelf that Benjamin created for their team challenge.
Part of the challenge involves telling a story. Their team's story takes place in the "Museum of Architecture." They are stocking the shelves with models of skyscrapers and pyramids.
The models were made from legos.

Many hands at work!
The Destination Imagination regional tournament was this past weekend. It was a great experience and we learned so much. The kids learned more than they had hoped about how to deal with disappointment. I'm really proud of them!
