What I am NOT working on today.

I thought I had some more current photos pre-loaded onto my blog to write about today. I was wrong. I do have all of these from the curtain fabric shopping trip I had with my mom several weeks ago. We discovered some amazing home dec places.

Some were very fancy.

Some had lots of tassels!

This is the print I decided on for the window toppers in the family room.

This is the stripe I decided on for the window seat in the kitchen.

This is the sheer I decided on for a drape over the window above the window seat. (Good price on that one, baby!)

You'd think all these pictures would inspire me. Not so much. I'm swamped with coordinating Box Top collections for Claire's school, helping with her 2nd grade musical decorations, printing and mailing Christmas cards (we have a new address, so they need to go out soon), processing book orders, oh and.... How about if we have a marathon curtain making evening when we visit? It's always more fun with a partner and lots of moral support!

ooooh Deb, those fabrics are swoonalicious!

I live in a town with no Starbucks. Which wouldn't be so bad, except there's no decent bookstore, either. Occasionally - just occasionally - I miss being able to have on of those wicked Starbucks decadent coffees...

What a beautiful store! I'm with you on the Starbucks. I feel like scrapping all this work and moving to a desert island -- oh, except they wouldn't have a Starbucks...or would they???:)

Oh the trims, the decadence of it all! There are some good things about living in a vast metropolis!

Cheers, Sarah

I really like the fabric for the window toppers the best. You probably already know, but I like signing up for the flyers both in snail mail and on email, so I get two sets of coupons. We get 40% off around here any one item, with an occasional 50%.
