Ending

I'll be making my last piece today. Exhale.

Here are the pieces I made yesterday and Thursday.

Here is a detail shot at an angle.
Another detail. I used a polyester felt as a foundation and then I singed the edges with a heat gun after I'd finished. You probably can't really see that since it's mounted on my black design board. (Duh.)
It's very loose, layered, dark, chaotic...

Wonderful Good Friday piece. I hope you will be able to display these as a group perhaps next year during Lent? I am so impressed by this Lenten exercise. You have grown as an artist.

I have really enjoyed all your Lenten pieces. What a fantastic way to focus on the spirituality of the season! I agree that an exhibit of all the pieces would be wonderful. Thank you for sharing them all.
