Here is today's daily fiber art/study/meditation.
It was much more challenging than yesterday and not just because it's bigger. It just didn't come together smoothly. It felt ambitious and I seemed to be in over my head and yet to far along to quit. Yet, I'm pleased with the results, so clearly there is some lesson to be learned there.
I like the color combo, though I think whenever you use red and green together it seems to say Christmas. I am really enjoying digging into my stash and using pieces that have been long ignored.

I really like it and it doesn't make me think Christmas. I particularly like your placement of the four red triangles. It looks great!

The red rectangles remind me of the bright light from the sunrise making a bright place on the wall opposite the window. Really interesting piece, love all the textures and the things to check out up close. Bravo!
It looks more 'urban landscape" to me.
I'm looking forward to seeing all the finished kids quilts too!
I like it! The red shapes near the top look like a window to me.
I think this is great, and I don't know about the Christmas feeling there... I think it's kind of summery but that might just be me... hoping for summer.
Oh, it's fabulous. I didn't think Christmas at all. And your process sounds *very much* like being in the midst of an EfM Theological Reflection--you think you're way out somewhere weird, but if you keep at it, something wonderful comes out in the end.
(OH! And the word I have to use to verify this post? Greed! What's up with that?!?)
