Mixing

I am finally mixing some art time in to my days! We had a lovely holiday season, during which I spent much more time thinking about art than creating art. So, it's wonderful to get back to the fabric...

...and the paint! I'm painting the edges of my next 12x12 quilt. I didn't have quite the right colors, so I had to mix.

The colorplay palette for this round is "eggplant" or as Nikki described it: eggplant, wine and emerald. We'll reveal the quilts on January 12! (You're getting a bit of a sneak peek in these pictures.)
