The mangrove tree reaches out its roots into the water --- stabilizes the shore, provides habitat for little creatures and becomes an essential part of the ecosystem. I took this picture during our vacation in Antigua this summer.I am just stunned by the tragedy in Haiti. I'm praying there are still roots reaching out to help, to stabilize, to provide shelter.
