Gifts
I just returned from a lovely visit to Maine. The Frayed Edges shared a wonderful weekend together, including celebrating some birthdays. I had a fantastic time doing these mixed media paintings which were wrapped up as gifts for the birthday girls. 
They are all 10x10 on gallery wrapped canvas, which allowed me to do a little extra decoration on the edges.

Between these and your 12x12 Palm piece, I think we are seeing the emergence of your "stencil period." I look forward to seeing more of it. I also really like the "secret" message on the side of the canvas -- you are so right, the edge is there, why not use it?!
These are beautiful. I love the use of the sides of the canvas. I am sure they will be treasured for years.
