Sculpture

Several weeks ago we went to the Cottonwood Arts Festival and found the perfect addition to our backyard. We'd been looking for something, but we didn't really know what we wanted, until we found it and then we knew it was perfect!

It arrived in a big box!

Actually, two big boxes. You can see the other one on the floor in the background. It was masterfully packed.

Two by fours, bubble wrap, tape, cardboard... this is getting exciting.

We had already laid the concrete and sunk the foundation post.

Unwrapping and putting together all the pieces.

Done! Ta da!

But you can't possibly appreciate how cool it is without seeing it in motion!

The sculpture is called the Zephyr and is designed and made by Andrew Carson of Seattle.

But who cares about the new amazing sculpture, when you have a giant empty box to decorate?!

And make a home for your stuffed animals?! Seriously, priorities people.

Love the sculpture! But as you said, it can't compete with a giant cardboard box!! My kids loved boxes, the bigger the better!
