Did you know they make jack-o-lantern shaped peeps? This was a huge hit as an after school snack. Thankfully, it's chilly enough to enjoy hot chocolate.
You can't see the back side of this mug, but it's an old treasure that my father brought back from the General Convention of the Episcopal Church sometime in the early 80's, I'd guess. It says, "A woman's place is in the house of bishops." This was after the Episcopal Church began ordaining women as priests, but before any had been elected bishop. And now our Presiding Bishop is a woman. Hooray for progress!
