I'm still savoring pictures and memories from my trip to Maine. Here are the Frayed Edges relaxing on the shore of the Merry Meeting Bay. "Merry Meeting!"
Kate and I shucked corn straight from her garden.
Me.
Hannah.
Sarah.
Kate and her son Haven.
Birthday girl, Kathy.
Actually, there were gifts for everyone. Hannah brought a collection of goodies from Ikea and the local scrap book store. Such great stuff to add to my stash.
After walking along the shore and collecting a bit of sea glass and pottery, cocktail hour commenced. Kate made mojitos and a pom martini.
And we looked and books and talked about being "open."
Dinner was simple and fabulous. Kathy made this wonderful chicken salad to go with the corn, plus cheve and crackers. Yum.
After dinner? Dessert of course.
After dessert? Game playing! Have you played "Bananagrams?" Super fun.
The next day we took a workshop with Natasha Kempers Cullen on mandalas. Sarah's blogged about it already. I'll post some of my pictures too and then that will be the last of the Maine pictures. Sigh.
