Under the Arch

Just a quick post of what I'm up too. Not working on the sky as you can see. I must get back to that today or tomorrow.

I had to post the picture separatly. Scroll down to see the arch and a detail shot.

I started another arch. I'm having a lot of fun doing it.



Here's a detail of the beading I did last night while watching tv.


I'm really pleased with this beading. I like the effect of the outline. It's pretty time consuming, so I don't intend to do much. I have discovered that I really like the effect of a mix of beads. On the other arch I did all gold bugles around the leaf shapes and that was fine, but I mixed about 5 or 6 kinds of seed beads for this project and I love the effect. They all read generally the same, but still have texture and interest. I don't have too many beads, so I just gathered a bit from here and there. Lots of little tiny packs that various people have included with swaps I've done. I just may have to go to the real bead store and create my own seed bead soup if I intend to do much more outlining. (Which I don't. But I still might have to go to the bead store.)
