Click the link in the left sidebar to send me and email and we can get started. (I know you're wondering about price. I charge $1 per square inch, so a 10x10 collage would be $100. A 5x7 collage would be $35. Depending on the size, it can be quite affordable.)
Here are some examples of recent commissions.

S Landscape
I created this modern landscape fabric collage to be hung above a bed. The client requested images of growth and home. She especially liked my hand stitching and unique embellishments. This piece includes a vintage key and key hole charm.

Winter's Come and Gone
This piece was commissioned as a gift and inspired by the lyrics in Gillian Welch's "Winter's Come and Gone." It was a delight to incorporate winter imagery, the bird and even "five cold nickels." Here's what the client had to say about the process.
When a friend became pregnant with her first child, I wanted to find a gift that would be unique to our friendship. Sure, onesies and diaper accessories make great first-baby presents, but I envisioned something that would last forever and always remind her of us. Having reconnected with Deborah, a sorority sister, through Facebook, I thought a handmade fabric collage would be perfect, and I had a clear idea for a theme that made for a seamless, speedy, delightful collaboration. On several occasions throughout our friendship, Lesley and I had sung a song by Gillian Welch, "Winter's Come and Gone," about the passing of winter into spring. It's full of vibrant images and language, giving Deborah a lot to work with. I was impressed with how quickly she turned it around, and it far exceeded my imagination in terms of its simplicity, beauty, and connection to the song. In fact, the song took on even deeper meaning when I saw the collage, and began to represent not just the literal changing of seasons, but this new season of life that my friend is stepping into as a parent. It was the perfect gift for my vision, and in this era of chain stores and Internet shopping, when it's become even more important to me to support local artists, I have a friend to go to when I'm looking for a gift that is truly original.

This piece was commissioned as a gift from a husband to his wife on the occasion of a big job promotion. He wanted to note that she was a significant part of his success. He requested the specific line of poetry, "Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same." The houses and the watch face are symbols of their years together and the many places they have lived and visited.
Souls Together
