I had a blast making this series of bird post cards. They are all 4x6 and made with Kathy's delicious hand dyed fabric, fused and hand embroidered. Ok... now I must make some more serious art. (Ha!)
Four Yellow Flowers
A Wing with Red Dots
Orange Duck
Red Tail Feathers
Seven Orange Flowers
Squawk
Three Blue Birds
Two Orange Feathers

Deborah, these are great. I am in love with one of them and will make you sell it to me.
These are wonderful! Are you in a postcard swap or just making them for fun? Can you really mail SQUAWK with those big square beads?
Delightful! So cheerful and humorous they make me smile.
This IS serious art! I love them! Are they for sale?
Deborah, These are GREAT! I love them all.
I love these!!!
These are so much fun! I LOVE 7 Orange Flowers!
I really like your leafy little wings and tails, and your funky plants!
I like these a lot. And if you MUST do larger other art... have you considered combining a number of these into a large quilt?
That would be so cute.
Here-here...these are funny...
My Lili is going to want everyone of these when I send her over to look at them. Too cool!
My first thought was "I love these." My second thought was "I wonder if Gerrie's seen them yet?"
Great stuff, Deb.

Delightful! Add a little tale and you have a wonderful children's book waiting to happen (can you tell I have that library mind set?) Jen
Deborah! These are great! Fabulous! Happy and fun and exciting! Great shapes, great color, great composition! They'd look wonderful framed with large mats.... I'm blown away!
Hi Deborah,
I am loving your bird postcards....the colors, the embroidery.....lovin' them all.
Whoa! Guess I wasn't the only one who liked these. Proud of you for doing a serious series. You inspire me. My African Ibis says "HaDeeeDa" to these relatives!
just one more person to tell you these are wonderful, love them all,
Sorry Deb that I was unable to read my blogs yesterday, due to early traffic school. I would have shreiked for joy at your bird bunches of quilts. Fantabuloso! Please resist the urge to make them all into one quilt. If you decide to make more in the series, just do 'em again only 11x14 or 18x24, as individuals again.
Gosh, I can't help being a teacher. Please forgive me.
These are just delightful, Deb! Keep it up and see where it goes...
Thanks for the advertisement with my postcard in your pile!
